'La Petite Auberge' is a beautiful 'Luxury Boutique B&B' built in the
early Victorian period and is very centrally located next to the river
in the historic town of Youghal close to all the amenities yet the area
is surprisingly peaceful & quiet at night.
The decor is charming and distinctively 'French' in style with an
eclectic mix of antique & modern furniture complemented by the creative
use of luxury soft furnishings throughout. The property has a
magnificent antique front door and the guestrooms all have sea/estuary
views as well as a private en-suite, 'Multi-channel Satellite TV & Radio, tea & coffee making
facilities, hairdryer & complementary Wi Fi plus there is plenty of
parking available at the front of the property.

The breakfast room has a delightful, sunny aspect in the morning with
views over the estuary and breakfast itself is lavish & quite
substantial with an extensive buffet to start comprising of cereals,
yogurt, fresh fruit such as strawberries and pineapple, cheeses & a
selection of cold meats & salamis. This is followed by a choice of Full
Irish Breakfast, French Omelettes & Smoked Salmon with scrambled eggs,
or any variation
that would suit our guests.
'Fresh Organic ingredients are used whenever possible'
Wander
around the fishing harbour just a minutes walk away or enjoy a glass of
wine overlooking the quayside with spectacular views of the estuary &
it's visiting yachts and abundant wildlife. Many yachts
stay all year round on swinging moorings at present but a yacht marina
is planned in the near future. Close by, are Youghal's shops ,bars,

possible to cross the road in front of La Petite Auberge to the little

of the oldest in Ireland and can be rented for private parties.

the longest, ancient surviving town wall in Ireland & over the centuries
the town has been associated with many historic figures such as Sir

near the ancient clock tower has an excellent museum style exhibition
which briefly explains Youghal's history and is free! A daily escorted
walking tour provides visitors with a great deal of information in this
respect.
The town
hall opposite our B&B has an Arts Centre with regular concerts,
recitals, drama & art exhibitions. Conferences relating to Heritage &
other civic interest groups are also a regular feature.
